Utah Radio Products combines with Caswell.
Utah Radio speakers were one of the State's firsts. They are still sought after by vintage
audiophiles Utah speakers are seen of the JBL speakers of their time.

RBH Sound founded in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Originally the company built OEM speakers for brands like McIntosh, JBL and Rockford Fosgate. They would later switch to building their own brand. |

Kimber Kable founded in Ogden, Utah.
Known as the “Father
of AV” Ray Kimber, a former Weber sound engineering professor, developed the
first inter- weaved cables for elimination of distortion.

Claco Equipment Founded in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Servicing all 50
states, Claco is a commercial theater designer. Installing theater seats,
screens, speakers and audio equipment. They also are the main designer for
Megaplex Theaters, a Larry Miller Company.

Wilson Audio Moves from California to Provo, Utah.
Moving into a
25,000 sq. ft. building they would design some of the av world’s most
expensive loudspeakers. Dave Wilson said they moved back to where he and
his wife first met.

TruAudio Founded in Hurricane, Utah.
Known for their
in-wall-speakers and lifetime warranty this company is used by many av
integrators.

SkullCandy Founded in Park City, Utah.
Publically traded,
this headphone company has grown to be one of the biggest portable audio

iFrogz Founded in Logan, Utah.
This company
designs accessories for iPhones. In 2011 the company was bought by Zagg, a
portable electronics accessory manufacturer.

Piano Guys Founded in Utah.
Using pianos and
violins this band is famous for their YouTube videos. Many audiophiles have
noticed the high quality HD audio format on their albums.

Claco Equipment finishes Dolby Atmos Theater in West
Valley, Utah.
Estimated over $5
million, this company built the first Dolby Atmos, a new surround sound
format, theater in Utah.
